The
'Internetsymposium' is a project set up by the teachers' network of the Onderwijscentrum
(formerly known as IDO/VU), Amsterdam.
In
the Internetsymposium 16-17 year students of several schools carry out a chemical
experiment and set up a discussion about their research. The students will need
10 - 20 hours in this project.

| April | internet discussion; additional experiments |
| May | students write a scientific article, published on internet |
| June | an independent jury chooses the best research; 1st prize € 500 |
| November | the winning article is to be published in the 'Natuurwetenschap en Techniek' science magazine |
